The Laid Back Soul & Funk playlist is a mix of vintage classics from legends such as Tommy Stewart, Labi Siffre, Gwen McCrae and James Brown to modern gems including The Allergies’ ‘Every Trick In The Book’, ‘Taxi Driver Funk’ by Igor Gonya and Flight Facilities rework of Marvin Gaye’s ‘Let’s Get It On’.
You’ll probably recognise a few as well as quite a few of them have been sampled over the years including ‘Feal the Real’ by David Bendeth and ‘Love and Happiness’ by First Choice.
So many favourites and so great for creating a vibe. Most of these tracks were on the midweek playlist at my bar.
